Abstract: Malnutrition, a condition associated with not eating enough, affects a considerable proportion of the U.K. older population. Much research has focused more on obesity, a condition associated with eating too much. My work aims to use some of the research on overeating in obesity to encourage increased eating in those who currently undereat. The talk will cover four studies that investigate a role for liking, taste and variety, in increasing protein intakes in older adults.
