Professor Alan Tennant

Profile

With a first degree in social sciences, and a PhD (Leeds) n Health Services Research on community reintegration following traumatic brain injury, he was appointed to the Chair of Rehabilitation Studies at Leeds in 2000, and retired with Emeritus status in June 2014. Holding an Adjunct Chair at the University of Western Australia until 2018, he also held an appointment as Senior Advisor with Swiss Paraplegic Research, Switzerland, together with a permanent visiting professorship at the University of Luzern, until the end of 2018. He has authored over 250 peer reviewed papers including 120 papers applying the Rasch measurement model in health outcomes.
