Amy Atkinson

I am a PhD student in the School of Psychology. Before this, I completed my BSc Psychology degree at the University of Leeds, and my MRes Psychology degree at the University of York.

Research interests

As part of my PhD, I am investigating whether adults and children can direct their attention to particularly important information in working memory. This includes information that is more valuable or more goal-relevant.

I am also involved in several other research projects, investigating forgetting over time, hippocampal involvement in memory, and the ability to follow instructions.
