Profile

My background is in molecular biology, having completed a BSc in Genetics (Immunology) from the University of Aberdeen in 1997. I later completed an MSc in Environmental Science, and subsequently conducted research in molecular environmental microbiology. I have worked in a number of roles in clinical research, in industry, and academia. Presently, I work within the Scleroderma research group at Chapel Allerton Hospital in Leeds, where my role is to support the delivery and coordination of the Strike study (Stratification for Risk of Progression in Scleroderma). I organise the day-to-day operation of the study in Leeds, and facilitate the delivery of the project across other sites.
