Research interests

I am currently involved in the following projects:

NoHoW: Evaluation of evidence-based ICT behaviour change tools for weight loss maintenance in adults who are overweight/obese (i.e. BMI of <25 kg/m2) prior to initial weight loss and after a clinically significant weight loss (i.e. ≥5% within the previous 12 months).

BioPAsSPoRT: Evaluation of a renal biomarker with the intention of predicting delayed graft function more accurately and earlier than standard practice to improve outcomes and follow-up care for kidney transplant patients.

Patient Safety Translational Research Centre (PSTRC): Econometric analysis of safe staffing ratios in maternity settings using the tool Birthrate+ to provide unbiased estimates of the impact of supply on patient outcomes.

SafetyNet: Realist synthesis review of how interoperable Health IT systems benefiting from economies of scale and scope can influence patient safety.
