I am a Research Assistant and PhD candidate in the Academic Unit of Palliative Care of the Univerity of Leeds, working on the Yorkshire Cancer Research funded programme “RESOLVE: Improving health status and symptom experience for people living with advanced cancer”.
I am a researcher in RESOLVE programme where I work to devise, implement and evaluate an algorithm based approach within primary care electronic record systems to alert GPs to patients with cancer who may benefit from palliative care approach. I also use linked population level, routinely collected, datasets to identify what determines and limits timely access to palliative care for patients with advanced progressive diseases.
My current research focuses on improving timely access to palliative care in primary care.
I am a tutor for Individuals and Populations on MBChB, School of Medicine
