Profile
I joined Leeds Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine in 2018 to work on studies of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Before coming to Leeds I worked at Newcastle University where my work focused on healthy life expectancy and prior to this, I worked at Dundee University predominantly on studies of cancer screening but also other areas of health research including diabetes and cardiovascular disease. I have many years’ experience of using routinely collected, record linked, population-based data and have also worked on clinical trials and studies using longitudinal data, survey data and census output.
