Dr Duncan Wilson

Profile

I am a research fellow developing and evaluating methods for the design and analysis of clinical trials. After working as an analyst in the civil service and completing a PhD developing simulation and optimisation models of emergency response operations at Durham University, I took up an NIHR Research Methods Fellowship at LICTR in 2013. This allowed me to change the focus of my research to statistical methodology, and led on to an MRC Skills Development Fellowship on the design and analysis of early phase complex intervention trials for screening interventions before their evaluation in large, confirmatory studies.
