Dr. Magda Jordao
Magda Jordão received her BA in Psychological Sciences and an Integrated Masters' in Clinical Psychogerontology at the Faculty for Psychology and Education Sciences in the University of Coimbra, Portugal. In 2020, she completed her PhD in Neuropsychology, in which she focused on how spontaneous memories and future thoughts change with aging. Previously, she did research on how to use physical action to improve memory in older people, collaborated with Third Age universities and worked as a clinical psychologist in primary care. Magda is interested in cognitive aging in healthy and pathological populations, and in applied research that aims to promote successful aging and/or improve care in pathological aging and neuropsychological impairment, including care homes.
