Profile

My background is in Medicine, Public Health and PhD in Applied Health Research. My research primarily focuses on the development and evaluation of health interventions for patients with long term conditions with an aim to improve their symptom management and quality of life. Having held a previous postdoc post at the University of Nottingham, I joined the School of Healthcare at the University of Leeds where I led a feasibility trial aiming to develop and evaluate an evidence-based self-management intervention for women with incontinence. I have also been successful in applying for external research grants to undertaken PPI activities and seed funding for the development of outcome measures. I then joined the LIHS, where I am leading projects collaborating with other 4 European countries, aiming to develop and evaluate needs’ assessment interventions for patients with COPD who need palliative care in feasibility trials.
