Sustainability in the MBChB
Course overview
This course will look into future-proofing the undergraduate programmes within the School of Medicine, taking into account the educational and clinical environment.
Interactive and participant led, aligning ideas and practice to current university and NHS guidelines on sustainability.
By the end of the workshops participants will be able to:
- Take stock and evaluate existing sustainability.
- Identify sustainability priorities affecting medicine?
- Work towards developing a sustainability strategy that makes a real impact.

This course is free to attend and of interest to those wishing to develop teaching skills, especially in the healthcare environment and teaching our students. It is of particular interest to those with leadership responsibilities and those responsible for sustainability in their area of work
