Ultrasound as a Tool in Medical Education

Course overview

In 2016 the School of Medicine at the University of Leeds became the first UK medical school to introduce an integrated ultrasound curriculum, with ultrasound teaching in all years of the MBChB programme.

This event is designed to introduce, support and develop point-of-care ultrasound teaching within medical education. With full practical support from experienced facilitators, methods of teaching with be demonstrated and opportunities to share experiences within an informal setting.

This is a full day of training, networking and sharing of good practice, open to all with an interest in ultrasound and teaching.

This course is free to attend and of interest to those wishing to develop their ultrasound teaching skills, especially in the healthcare environment and teaching our students.
